29 Tannenbaum Helpern attorneys have been selected to the 2013 New York Metro Super Lawyers list, including two attorneys in the Top 100 Super Lawyers list

Super Lawyers acknowledges more than half of Tannenbaum Helpern attorneys in their areas of specialization in its 2013 New York Metro Super Lawyers list, including eight Rising Stars. We are proud to announce two of the firms commercial and federal litigators are elected to the Top 100 Super Lawyers in New York Metro. For two consecutive years, Paul D. Sarkozi, a partner in the firms Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice, received this recognition. Joining him in the 2013 Top 100 Super Lawyers list is Vincent J. Syracuse, Chair of the firms Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice and a skilled commercial litigator with over four decades of experience.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.

Each year no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor. To be selected as a Super Lawyer, attorneys are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement including verdicts, settlements and transactions, experience, representative clients, position within the law firm, writings, and bar and community activities. Rising Star status is earned by up-and-coming attorneys who are no older than 40 or have been in practice for 10 or fewer years.
