Dr. Meador brings a depth of clinical experience to her role, including prior work creating innovative solutions that enhance physician alignment and engagement. She joins BDO’s leading cadre of healthcare clinical and business advisory professionals built to deliver transformative services that help healthcare organizations comprehensively redefine operations and processes to respond to patient-centric demands.

Prior to joining BDO, Dr. Meador served as a physician executive at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, where she held clinical and administrative leadership roles. In these roles, Dr. Meador expanded an outpatient primary care network, founded a physician staffing company and created an urgent care center. She also developed and launched a hospitalist program to expand the scope of an existing academic pediatric hospital and established a new community hospital. In addition, Dr. Meador led a National Institute of Health (NIH)-funded pharmacology research unit and was responsible for the contracting, administration and compliance of more than 600 ongoing clinical trials. She has also served as an emergency medicine and urgent care pediatrician at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Meador earned her M.B.A from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and her M.D. from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed her pediatrics residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, is a Board Certified Pediatrician and has been elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Serving in numerous leadership roles on academic and nonprofit boards, Dr. Meador held the positions of President of The Wharton Alumni Club of Dallas / Fort Worth, Treasurer for The University of Texas Health Alumni Board, Treasurer for The Wharton Health Care Management Alumni Association and Committee Chair for The Wharton School Alumni Executive Board.
