Talent Rover, provider of cloud-based software built for managing the entire staffing and recruitment workflow, has tapped Christian Ward to serve as Head of Asia-Pacific (APAC) Sales. Previously a sales leader at LinkedIn and Daxtra Technologies, Ward joins Talent Rover with over 12 years of experience providing IT solutions to the recruitment and HR industries. He will be responsible for growing Talent Rover’s Hong Kong office and expanding the company’s presence in the region.

Ward’s appointment continues a period of aggressive international expansion at Talent Rover. Headquartered in San Francisco, Talent Rover opened its London office and Dublin operations center in 2013. The Hong Kong office was established in May 2015 to meet demand from existing and new clients in APAC. This year, Talent Rover has more than doubled its global sales and support teams in order to meet increasing demand from the staffing and recruitment industry, estimated to be worth more than $416 billion.

Christian Ward has held business development roles in the recruitment and HR technology space with a focus on the APAC region. Prior to joining Talent Rover, Ward helped LinkedIn establish and grow its presence in North Asia and ultimately became responsible for managing the largest accounts in the region. Before joining LinkedIn, Ward opened business operations in the United States and APAC for Daxtra Technologies, a top provider of resume search and parsing technology.

In addition to his work in software sales, Ward is the co-founder of ENZI, a premium casual footwear and apparel company based in Ethiopia. He graduated from University of Hull with a B.A. in Asian Languages and Politics. Ward earned half his degree at Sanata Dharma University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. An avid traveler and foodie, Ward is a Liverpool FC fanatic.
