Monster Staffing and Recruiting Business Unit Strengthened by Monster Leadership Team

CPO Chris Cho, CMO Jonathan Beamer, and Industry Veteran Penny Queller Drive Monster’s Vision for Industry

Monster Worldwide, Inc., a global leader in connecting people to jobs, is pleased to introduce Chief Product Officer Chris Cho and Chief Marketing Officer Jonathan Beamer to the staffing and recruiting industry, the company’s largest global vertical market.

Since Penny Queller, Senior Vice President and General Manager, took the helm of the company’s Staffing and Recruiting Business Unit less than a year ago, Monster has been building a team and developing solutions that will change the way staffing firms successfully engage with job seekers. The additions of Cho and Beamer will enable Monster to innovate for and connect with the staffing industry in a way it hasn’t before.

“Jonathan and Chris are titans in marketing and technology, and we have the best in the industry leading us in these critical facets of our business,” said Queller. “Chris’ vision for product innovation is no less than a call to evolve recruiting from a transaction-based exchange to a transformational experience. Jonathan has built consumer mega-brands and understands the combination of creative and analytical prowess it takes to create a dominant market presence in a competitive environment.”

Cho is an entrepreneur, technologist, and visionary with a proven track record in recruiting and HR software. His commitment to product innovation and technology is apparent in the organizations he has led, including TMP Worldwide and Jibe.

“My goal at Monster is to enable everyone — recruiters, job seekers, and employers — to share more of themselves in the recruiting process and to improve it through the use of better data,” said Cho. “For the staffing industry, that means having the ability to assess candidates beyond the resume, cognizant of their accomplishments, goals and aspirations. We look forward to delivering solutions that will better equip staffing firms and recruiters to increase the reliable flow of qualified candidates.”

Prior to Monster, Beamer founded and led Think-Digital after serving as CMO of SolarCity. Before that, he held senior marketing positions at Progressive Insurance – where he led two campaigns that are still active – and Digitas.

“The staffing industry is under intense pressure to access top talent, and Monster’s ability to form strong relationships with and intimately understand job seekers is critical for those in staffing,” said Beamer. “I’m excited to bring new life and swagger back to the Monster brand as we deliver to staffing and recruiting executives the relevant job seekers they need.”
