NOVAtime Donates 1,400 Football Blankets to Local High School Fundraisers
NOVAtime Technology, Inc. (http://www.novatime.com), provider of leading-edge time & attendance services, announced today its donation of 1,400 Touchdown Comfort football blankets for fundraising efforts to local community high schools.
The Touchdown Comfort football blanket was designed, manufactured, and distributed by NOVAtime, and has received an official patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Entirely made of soft cloth, the Touchdown Comfort is slightly larger than an official NFL football, and instead of being filled with air, a rolled-up blanket resides within. The football functions as a pouch and features a zippered opening where the blanket can be stored. “The inspiration for Touchdown Comfort emerged from NOVAtime’s partnership with Levi’s Stadium, the prominent site for Super Bowl 50,” explains Brian Harris, NOVAtime’s VP of Client Services. Levi’s Stadium employees and staff utilize NOVAtime’s workforce management solutions, which include the rugged and mobile NT65M and the versatile NT7000FP Smart Time Clock/Kiosk.
NOVAtime donated 200 Touchdown Comfort football blankets to seven high schools in an effort to boost the fundraising efforts of each of the schools. Four of the seven high schools operate within the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District, and were referred by Jay Chen, member of the Mt. SAC Board of Trustees. The high schools that received the free football blankets include:
1. Dakota Ridge High School Eagles
2. Diamond Bar High School Brahmas
3. Glen A. Wilson High School Wildcats
4. La Puente High School Warriors
5. Los Altos High School Conquerors
6. Ontario High School Jaguars
7. William Workman High School Lobos
Located within the same city as NOVAtime’s headquarters, Diamond Bar High School has an active relationship with the workforce management provider. For example, NOVAtime is a repeat sponsor for the upcoming Evening of Colors, a multi-cultural community fundraising event promoting parent and community involvement in cultural events and activities. Brian Harris comments, “NOVAtime contributes to community recovery and development by donating to disaster relief funds and local schools. The entire NOVAteam is proud of the recent donation of 1,400 football blankets to help local high school fundraisers.”
