Staffing Industry Veteran Penny Queller Builds Team to Grow Monster Staffing and Recruiting Business Unit
Monster’s investment in leadership team reaffirms its commitment to the staffing industry
Monster Worldwide, Inc., a global leader in connecting people to jobs, today announced its new Staffing and Recruiting leadership team. The group is led by Penny Queller, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Staffing and Recruiting, who has amassed a powerhouse team that now includes more than 70 members focused on solutions for the staffing industry. The six new leadership team members have extensive track records in staffing, technology, marketing and sales and have been assembled to underscore the company’s commitment to re-energizing its focus on the staffing industry.
Queller brings more than 20 years of staffing and recruiting experience, including executive leadership positions at Alexander Mann Solutions, The Bartech Group, Adecco and Staffing Industry Analysts. Her strengths include designing unique solutions to virtually any recruiting challenge, building strong relationships with clients and developing teams who take a similarly customer-focused approach to their work.
Queller and her team are concentrating on delivering solutions and strategies specifically designed to help recruiters make more successful connections between employers and job seekers. Most important, her focus at Monster will be the effort to enable on-the-ground recruiters to do what they’re best at—making human connections and bringing humanity back to the staffing experience.
“At Monster, we understand that existing recruiting methods and technologies are not producing the results we need,” Queller said. “We’ve been listening to the pain points of staffing and recruiting leaders and designing digital solutions to address those challenges. The new leadership team in our Staffing and Recruiting Business Unit has never been stronger here at Monster. We’re committed to helping our clients and recruiters build bridges between job seekers and job opportunities, and I’m excited to begin the rollout of these strategies and solutions.”
Collaboration between teams in the United States, Canada and Europe will be a central tenet of Monster’s renewed focus on the staffing industry. Angela Payne, Senior Vice President, General Manager, Canada, Andrea Bertone, President, Europe and Queller will partner together to develop strategies and share best practices that benefit the global staffing and recruiting industry. “Increasingly, staffing and recruiting firms are expanding their service area to cover multiregional client needs and we see a tremendous opportunity to join forces and help our clients navigate all of these markets,” said Payne.
Six members were recently added to the Staffing and Recruiting Business Unit including two internal appointments. Tim Robbins is now Vice President, East U.S. Staffing and Recruiting, and Claudette Cunitz is Vice President, West U.S. Staffing and Recruiting. Four new hires were added over the past several months including Jeff Weidner, Vice President, Product Innovation; Chase Wilson, Vice President, Product Innovation; Jay Schupp, Vice President, New Business Development; and Lee Phillips, Senior Manager Marketing, Staffing and Recruiting.
