Tanenholz & Associates Grows Business, Announces New Tech Division, Expands Legal Team

Tanenholz & Associates, one of the Mid-Atlantic’s premier boutique discovery law firms is growing its business, launching a new e-discovery technology division, and expanding its discovery law practice with the hire of four attorneys with a specialized expertise in pharmaceutical, structured finance, and product liability litigation.

“In a fast-paced, data driven environment where corporate documentation grows exponentially each year, we believe our clients deserve seasoned attorneys with a specialized expertise in discovery review. Corporations are increasingly recognizing the valuable middle ground between exorbitantly priced law firms and revolving door staffing agencies. Our unique approach, technological expertise, and proven attorneys differentiate our firm from every other discovery provider on the market,” said firm founder, David Tanenholz.

Heading up the new tech division is Dan Stromberg, Director of Discovery Technology, who counsels clients on legal and technology issues that arise throughout the entire e-discovery life cycle, including data collection, analysis, review, and production. Dan works with clients to reduce their overall discovery costs, implements cutting-edge analytical and review tools, and customizes and manages document database design and review implementation.

The firm’s expansion includes the promotion of Bill George to Senior Counsel & Director of Managed Review and Charles Marr to Senior Counsel.

Bill George advises clients on developments in e-discovery law, litigation readiness, electronic discovery plans, review protocols, privilege issues, and application of the latest e-discovery technology. “We work closely with clients to determine our review objectives, analyzing how the data will ultimately be used, and implementing a customized solution that anticipates the likely twists and turns of a case. I look forward to continuing to grow the firm’s managed review offerings through this exceptional service,” Bill remarked.

Charles Marr offers extensive experience guiding managed review protocols, interfacing with legal counsel and the corporate client, as well as leading the review, analysis, and production of electronically stored information and traditional documents.

“I am pleased to join a group of accomplished lawyers who are committed to developing meaningful, ongoing relationships with clients through maintaining the highest quality of legal representation while simultaneously reducing corporate legal spending. This truly distinguishes Tanenholz and I look forward to building my work and practice here,” commented Charles.

Additionally, the firm is expanding its legal team with the hire of four discovery associates with a combined 15-plus years’ experience.
