Lyons HR purchases assets of AdminHR

Lyons HR, an Alabama-based human resources management company, has purchased the assets of AdminHR of Charlotte, N.C. With the acquisition, Lyons HR provides services for more than 600 clients in 27 states, totaling more than 14,000 employees.

Bill Lyons founded Lyons HR as a staffing company in 1995. The company now has nine locations across three states, including its corporate offices in Florence, Birmingham, Knoxville, Tenn., Huntsville, Gadsden, Decatur and Tuscaloosa.

As a full-service human resources company, Lyons HR serves clients through its PEO and Staffing divisions. The PEO division provides full human resources outsourcing for small and medium-sized businesses and is accredited by the Employer Services Assurance Corporation. ESAC provides member institutions with more than $15 million in bonding for the safety of clients.

Lyons HR is one of only 36 accredited companies in the PEO industry.

The staffing division provides temporary-to-placement, contingent labor supply and recruiting services for employers of all sizes, with clients ranging from a single location to multi-national Fortune 500 companies. A significant portion of clientele are suppliers in the growing automotive manufacturing and consumer goods manufacturing industries in the Southeast.
