DICE HOLDINGS LAUNCHES OPEN WEB™ WITH FINANCE VERTICAL
Dice Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DHX) today announced the launch of Open Web? to its finance vertical through eFinancialCareers. Open Web is the premier big data sourcing service which combines publicly available information from 130 social and professional data sources to create an all-in-one candidate profile. The rollout marks the first time the service extends outside technology-focused employers, broadening the available talent pool specifically for the financial services community.
Open Web for eFinancialCareers is uniquely tailored to the financial services industry and creates a more comprehensive picture of available financial talent than can be found using one single source. Now hiring managers sourcing financial technology talent can see a more well-rounded view of a candidate, including professional experience, contributions, history and capabilities as well as their passions and interests. The service provides a more efficient way for financial services companies to source and connect with candidates.
“The combination of eFinancialCareers proprietary databases with the information and insights gained through social and professional sites makes Open Web a one-of-a-kind product,” said Michael Durney , President and CEO of Dice Holdings, Inc. “Open Web has provided tremendous value to our tech-focused customers and now we expect to replicate that success and deliver talent efficiently to financial services companies in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific. We’re placing hard-to-find, highly-skilled fin tech candidates literally at employers’ fingertips.”
Specially designed for eFinancialCareers, Open Web groups and weighs key fin tech skills into one interactive skills cluster for customers. The proprietary complex search algorithm maps social networking profiles and also matches with financial professionals already registered on eFinancialCareers, creating an extensive one-stop-shop for recruiters.
“Open Web offers unique value to eFinancialCareers’ customers delivering a more actionable candidate with a wide array of relevant data. The combination of professionals’ skills along with interests and hobbies allows companies to personalize their approach, making faster introductions and essentially warming up the first interaction with a potential candidate,” said James Bennett , Global Managing Director of eFinancialCareers. “The service extends hiring managers’ reach accessing more fin tech candidates, increasing candidate insight, and in turn achieving higher response rates.”
The Open Web product first launched with the Company’s technology verticals through Dice in 2013 followed by ITJobBoard in the second quarter of 2014.
Open Web is available as an additional service for purchase to existing eFinancialCareers database customers.
