Spend Matters is pleased to announce our newest member of the team, Eric Lynch. Eric brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Spend Matters. He has spent more than 15 years in the sourcing, procurement and supplier management solution and consulting sectors. Eric is joining as Senior Vice President, Business Development.

Eric has served in sales, global alliances, consulting and various business development roles at IBM Emptoris, Aegis Spend Management, A.T. Kearney and Selectica/Iasta. Eric is passionate about a range of procurement areas: spend analysis, strategic sourcing, supplier risk management, procurement transformation, procurement outsourcing outsourcing/BPO and emerging supply market and commodity management strategies are just a few he thinks about at all hours of the day and night.

At Spend Matters (and with our parent company, Azul Partners), Eric will be focusing on creating executive relationships with key customers and partners primarily in the management consulting, staffing firm/managed services provider (MSP) and business process outsourcing (BPO) industries. These are emerging segments that Spend Matters plans to focus more deeply on in 2015 – in part through providing expert research, market intelligence and expertise to enhance and extend firm capabilities – and we are excited to have Eric on board to lead this initiatives.
