Avionté Staffing Software Reports 29 Percent Growth and 99 Percent Client Retention in 2014
The staffing software provider Avionté reported revenue growth of 29 percent in 2014 and a client retention rate at over 99 percent, further securing the company’s position as a leader in its space. The company’s achievements include two new staffing software version releases, key integrations with ProveIt, E-Verify, and the ADP SmartCompliance platform, and an investment from the private equity firm Serent Capital in January.
“It’s been a very exciting time for us, and I’m proud of the team for the strong growth Avionté experienced in the last year,” said Avionté CEO John Long. “With Serent Capital, our company has implemented significant changes and processes in 2014 that will help us expand into new markets and continue positioning us for growth. The growth we’re experiencing allows us to continue investing heavily in our clients and delivering a superior staffing solution that exceeds the needs of our end users.”
The staffing software company’s strong results follow eight consecutive years of substantial revenue growth, and landed Avionté on the Inc. 5000 list for the third year in a row, and on 2014’s Fast 50 list published by the Minneapolis|St. Paul Business Journal, which ranked Avionté as the 19th fastest-growing company in Minnesota. In 2014, Avionté was also recognized as a finalist for the Twin Cities Business Small Business Success Stories award and for Minnesota’s Tekne Awards, which honors companies for innovation in science and technology.
Continued revenue growth has fueled the company’s expanding team. In 2014, the company created a consulting division, restructured its support services, and added a number of experienced, high-level professionals to its management team. A new IT Manager along with a Director of Client Experience were brought on board to expand and strengthen the strategic and operational capabilities of the company’s Executive Team. Aviontéplans to continue expanding its leadership team throughout 2015. As of today, the company added an experienced support manager and director of sales in 2015 and has plans to hire nearly 25 additional employees by the end of the year.
Avionté’s new hires in 2014 included Mark Young, who was hired as CFO in September and came to the company with nearly 20 years of experience leading hyper-growth companies, after serving most recently as CFO, General Counsel and Chairman of the Board at the web and application development services company MentorMate, LLC. Young was hired to help the organization continue driving growth while building a strong and stable financial infrastructure.

The company announced it will continue to place high value on development and innovation. A number of product initiatives are set to take place in 2015, including the launch of a new browser-based recruiting software, code-named ‘AERO’, designed for the professional staffing and recruiting market. Avionté’s VP of Technology Pete Young said in 2015, development will continue to build upon the company’s extensibility plans with the creation of a new general-purpose API and improved partner integrations.
“2015 is going to be a big year for Avionté in terms of staffing software development and project work,” said Young. “We have added more than 65 years of software development experience to the team in the past nine months, which allows us to not only extend our award-winning suite into the professional staffing and recruiting market, but to continue to strengthen our existing capabilities.”
