Connectifier Announces $6 Million in Series B; Major Milestones in Sales Growth, Increased User Base and Hiring

Building on the momentum of its recently announced Series A, search-powered recruiting software firm Connectifier today announced that the company has closed a Series B round of funding in the amount of $6 million — bringing its total funding to date to $12 million. Connectifier has also experienced major growth in its sales, user base and in hiring, with a 487 percent annual increase in sales and doubling the size of the Connectifier team.

In June of this year, Connectifier closed its Series A, followed by a $6 million Series B round in September, bringing the company’s funding to a total of $12 million. The Series B financing round was led by Goldcrest Capital.

Connectifier delivers recruiters superior search technology developed by former Google engineers to quickly find and connect with the most sought-after job candidates, making it possible to cut through the clutter and inefficiency of existing methods and recruiting platforms. Thousands of in-house and contract recruiters at hundreds of companies are already utilizing Connectifier’s Auto Search search-powered recruiting technology to find the most in-demand job candidates and hard-to-reach passive job seekers in a variety of industries with the most intense competition for talent, including high tech, finance, sales, and healthcare.

Connectifier’s dramatic growth includes the following:

  • Sales: Connectifier has seen exceptionally rapid sales growth, going from $0 to $10 million run rate within 18 months. Sales grew to 487% of Q1 2014 in Q1 2015.
  • User Growth and Retention: Connectifier’s user base grew approximately 10x in 2014 entirely from word of mouth, and it continues to see significant week-over-week user base growth. Connectifier is spreading to larger accounts with more than 40% of the Fortune 100 now using its software to find qualified job candidates.
  • Customer Growth: Connectifier experienced explosive customer growth, growing from 107 unique companies a year ago to 482 today.
  • Hiring: Connectifier has doubled the size of its team in the last six months, and expects that growth to continue. Since it was founded by Google engineers, Connectifier has a special focus on hiring top engineering talent: the average Connectifier engineer has 2 degrees (at least one from a top 10 Computer Science school), 6 published research papers, and experience at major tech organizations like Google, Microsoft Research, Amazon and NASA.

Connectifier’s recruiting software was developed by industry-leading engineers with experience at top organizations such as Google, Apple, Amazon, LinkedIn, Microsoft Research and Berkeley National Lab. Connectifier’s recruiting solution uses an architecture similar to search engines to index public information from around the public Internet to gather data about candidates in one complete view on a single platform. Drawing upon truly modern big data and artificial intelligence techniques that perform “entity recognition” to aggregate disparate information into a single comprehensive candidate profile, Connectifier is a truly intelligent solution for the recruiting industry.

“It’s time to bring 21st century technology to bear so that we can make recruiters more effective stewards of their companies’ and the world’s most precious resource: human talent,” said John Jersin, Connectifier CEO. “We are on the forefront of this global change in recruiting human capital. We’re excited about the growth we’ve seen and we’re just getting started.”
