Avionté, a leader in technology solutions to the recruiting and staffing industry, announces the acquisition of AST, Applied Systems Technology, a software development company and creator of Persona Staffing Software, based out of Cornwall, New York.

AST clients will have the opportunity to take advantage of Avionté’s staffing software technology platform, which is focused on growth and business efficiency. The new platform offers improved solutions to AST clients to help them stay competitive, with features and functionality that were not available to them based on Persona’s software architecture.

Following months of evaluation and due diligence done by both AST’s and Avionté’s leadership teams to ensure the highest potential of success for all AST clients and employees involved, the transaction closed on June 2, 2017. AST’s staff immediately transitioned to become Avionté employees and will continue to support the AST Persona solution from Cornwall, NY.

Applied Systems Technology is the second acquisition Avionté has completed in the last 12 months. In July of 2016, Avionté purchased Questek Systems, Inc., the Canadian-based development company of Humanis Staffing Software.
