Staffing Software Provider, Automated Business Designs, Wins Support Department of the Year Award
Developers of Ultra-Staff staffing software wins Bronze in the 9th Annual Best in Biz Awards for Support Department of the Year.
CHICAGO, Illinois– Automated Business Designs (ABD), developers of Ultra-Staff staffing software, won Bronze in the 9th Annual Best in Biz Awards for Support Department of the Year. Best in Biz is the only independent business awards program judged by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications in North America, including, among others, Accounting Today, AdWeek, Associated Press, Consumer Affairs, USA Today, and Wired. With more than 700 entries, the 9th annual program attracted a record number of entries from an impressive array of public and private companies of all sizes and spanning all geographic regions and industries in the U.S. and Canada. Best in Biz Awards 2019 honors were conferred in 80 different categories, including Company of the Year, Fastest-Growing Company, Executive of the Year, and more.
The Support Department of the Year award recognizes Support Departments who have implemented new initiatives in the 2018-2019 year. ABD’s nomination included “Mornings with Molly” training sessions, which are 30-minute internal training sessions held twice a week before work. Each session covers a different Ultra-Staff software feature and is meant to enhance the team’s product knowledge so they can better serve ABD clients. The nomination also included ABD’s First Responder Program, which transfers a call automatically to the Support Team if someone is available to take the call. This program gives clients the ability to speak with someone in Support immediately verses logging a ticket and waiting for a call back. Many companies in the industry require a ticket to be logged and it takes days to respond, if not weeks, which is why this program is especially unique.
This year, the Support Team also introduced data analytics to the department. The ABD Tableau® Team, provides the Support Department with reports that track, manage, and predict client needs. These reports provide insights into frequently asked questions and ultimately allows the team to address these FAQ’s in client training sessions and webinars. The last portion of the nomination included ABD’s monthly webinars offered to clients, videos/webinars readily available to clients, and a monthly client newsletter that provides tips and tricks based on frequently asked questions gathered by Support.
“Since the inception of the company, customer service has always been a number one priority,” stated Terri Roeslmeier, President and CEO of Automated Business Designs. “We sincerely appreciate the business of our customers and want to provide them with the best support we can to help them be successful. Everyone on our Support Team is extraordinary. The entire ABD team is absolutely honored to receive this recognition from Best in Biz Awards.”
This is not the first customer service award that ABD has received. In 2018, ABD received a Bronze Level Stevie® for Customer Service Team of the Year in Computer Software. In 2017, Molly Nessinger, Vice President of Systems Engineering, also received a Bronze Level Stevie® Award for Product Management/Development Executive of the Year.
